1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sleight ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sleight is an educational app that teaches persuasion pattern recognition. The App provides interactive lessons, quizzes, and exercises designed to help you identify and understand common influence techniques used in everyday communication.

3. Educational Purpose

The content in Sleight is provided for educational and informational purposes only. The App teaches recognition and defense against persuasion techniques. The content is not intended to encourage manipulation of others. Users are expected to apply knowledge ethically and responsibly.

4. User Accounts & Data

Sleight does not require an account or registration. All progress data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device if you wish to preserve your progress.

5. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Sleight may offer premium content through in-app purchases or subscriptions. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Prices are displayed before purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including text, graphics, exercises, and design — is owned by There We Code and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without written permission.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with the App's operation
  • Redistribute or resell the App or its content

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. The educational content is based on established psychological research but should not be considered professional psychological advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, There We Code shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which There We Code is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
